Achieve realtime DEX readings

Vending on Track's vending machine management platform(VMS) now supports real-time DEX transfer using Amazon Web Services (AWS) Simple Queue Service (SQS).

Most vending machines provide DEX as a way to report incident or inventory status. A common DEX port is a ¼ inch audio jack (6.5mm stereo audio jack). Some telemetry or cashless devices would gather the DEX and report to telemetry platform periodically like every 6 hours.

However, this delay puts significant delays to vending operations, especially for businesses or teams that already adopted Just-In-Time refilling operations. The long delay makes the prekitting stats lagging.

Vending on Track is well known for its live stats for the vending machine. It now provides real-time virtual DEX file integration with 3rd party vendors. Whenever there is an event on a vending machine, Vending on Track's VMS will generate a new DEX file, and it will send the full DEX report through AWS SQS to 3rd party VMS. This will empower and improve old or outdated vending machine telemetry management software to be able to provide up-to-date stats. It protects businesses that have already invested heavily in DEX based telemetry platforms and those who are not willing to migrate to newer platforms due to the migration cost.
