SMS2Vend allows vending machine operators to deploy vending machines into the general public areas, to give out FREE products or Samples, and customers can receive free products by sending a text message. This would minimise the abuse and waste of giving products.

Also, with Vending on Track’s telemetry management portal, the stock level of individual dispensers are monitored, and refill requests will be automatically routed to individual stakeholders.

How does it work

To get a FREE item from the vending machine, the customer has to text a special code on the vending machine to a special number.

When the machine received the text, it will check the database if the sender’s mobile number satisfies the specific requirements (settings could be adjusted),

The minimal time delay between Free products
Not exceeding maximum allocated vend limit per day

Once the system has validated the mobile number, it will dispense one item for the customer.
